Data Collection

ScanSnap collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No crash reports sent to any server
• No advertising SDKs or tracking pixels
• No cookies (except those required for PWA functionality)

Camera Access

ScanSnap requests camera access solely to scan QR codes. Camera data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted, stored, or shared. No images or video are saved unless you explicitly use the QR code download feature, which saves locally to your device only.

Local Storage

ScanSnap stores your scan history and app settings locally on your device using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Network Access

ScanSnap works entirely offline after initial installation. The only network requests are for loading the app itself. No data is sent to any server at any time.

Third-Party Services

ScanSnap uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

ScanSnap does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
